A precautionary water advisory impacting 265 Rostraver customers was lifted Sunday morning, according to the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County.

The customers are again able to use their water normally.

Affected customers were notified on Friday of a problem with their drinking water. As a precaution, officials advised those customers to boil their water.

The alert had came after a water main repair Friday.

The authority told residents Sunday morning they could again use the water regularly after two consecutive tests found no bacteriological contaminants.
