Stephanie Bruggeman, of Delmont, laughs while in her koala bear costume, alongside her friend and co-worker Bronwyn Sodrosky, left, as the pair prepare to race in the second annual “Blow Up Export” inflatable costume race on Saturday, May 13, 2023 in Export. Both Bruggeman and Sodrosky are math teachers at Penn-Trafford High School. “She talked me into doing this,” said Bruggeman of her co-worker. The event helped raise funds for the Moose Heart Charity.

Stephanie Bruggeman of Delmont didn’t need an umbrella to stay dry on Saturday afternoon — her giant inflatable koala costume was doing the job just fine.

Bruggeman and a street full of inflatable athletes turned out for the second annual “Blow Up Export” race down Washington Avenue.

Proceeds from the race benefit the Moose Heart Charity.

Below, see video from the races.
