A Trafford man who police claimed sold drugs to an undercover officer on multiple occasions was ordered to serve up to 12 years in prison.

Vondae Duane Freeman, 40, pleaded guilty in November to three felony counts including one weapons offense and two drug charges in connection with what state agents said was an escalating series of controlled drug buys in 2024. Prosecutors dismissed the remaining 17 charges as part of the plea deal.

Westmoreland County Common Pleas Court Judge Scott Mears sentenced Freeman to serve 4½ to 12 years in prison.

Police said Freeman met seven times, with an undercover agent to whom he sold about 50 bricks of heroin or fentanyl and about 90 grams of unpackaged drugs and a handgun for $17,580.

A search of Freeman’s Cavitt Avenue home found two guns and more fentanyl, police said.
