Road closing in Fairfield for slide repairs

A road in Fairfield is set to close Monday for slide repairs.

A PennDOT spokesperson said the work will continue through late August on Loughner Road. The sparsely populated road is off Route 259, which will be used as a detour.

It is just west of Champion Lakes Golf Course and Resort and north of Wilpen.
