Rostraver bridge project plans available online through end of July
PennDOT will conduct a virtual display of plans for a bridge rehabilitation project on Vance Dei Cas Highway in Rostraver.
The plans will be posted online at the PennDOT District 12 website from Friday through July 31.
Work on the bridge is slated to begin in September, with completion expected by November.
Taking the place of an in-person plans display, in keeping with covid-19 social distancing guidelines, the online resources will include the project schedule and a location map.
Visit the District 12 website, click on the “Public Meetings” link and then the “Westmoreland County” box in order to select the “Vance Dei Cas Highway Bridge Project.”
The project is intended to extend the life of the bridge, located north of the Lynnwood-Pricedale community. Crews will replace worn and leaking seals, repair the concrete roadway and approach slabs and complete guardrail improvements.
Traffic will be maintained through the construction zone, with single-lane or shoulder closures as needed.
Feedback and questions about the project should be directed to PennDOT’s project manager, James P. Wolfe, at jameswolfe@pa.gov or 724-430-4420.
