Eastbound lanes of Route 22 in Salem Township have reopened after a multi-vehicle crash with a fuel spill.

The wreck involved a tractor trailer and at least one vehicle between Salem Drive and Crabtree Shieldsburg Road, according to the PennDOT website.

The crash happened just about 5 a.m. Hazmat crews are on the scene for clean-up.

Eastbound lanes were closed for about two hours but traffic is able to move slowly through the area now.
