A section of Route 130 in Jeannette and Penn Township is expected to close Friday.
PennDOT officials said the road likely will be shut down through late June, depending on weather and operations. Route 130, or Harrison Avenue, connects Harrison City and Jeannette.
During the closure, a 60-inch corrugated metal pipe will be replaced by a PennDOT crew with a 60-inch concrete pipe
The closure will be between 14th Street in Jeannette and Burrell Hill Road in Penn Township.
The posted detour in both directions will take motorists onto Oakford Park Road, Business Route 66 and Bushy Run Road.
