The annual Westmoreland County Senior Games have returned and will run through May 15.
County leaders hope the games foster activity, interest and interaction among senior citizens.
Events include high and low impact activities, and medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each event and age bracket.
Many events are held at Mammoth Park in Mt. Pleasant Township and others are held at sites including the Hempfield Township Athletic Complex, Main Bowling Center and Hillview Bowling Lanes and Norvelt Golf Course.
