A free Mother’s Day event in Greensburg Saturday will provide special experiences for shoppers while helping students from the Seton Hill University School of Business and Technology gain professional experience.

The college students are working with the Greensburg Business & Professional Association to plan and facilitate Blooms & Sips: A Mother’s Day Stroll from noon to 4 p.m. The event will provide students an opportunity to learn about organizational leadership, community development and small business.

Participating businesses in Greensburg will have different beverage options, with and without alcohol, as well as exclusive offers and discounts. Shoppers who make a purchase will get a coupon for a free flower stem. A flower hut will be set up in the Moore/Becker parking lot on South Pennsylvania Avenue.
