A Sewickley Township man was arrested Wednesday on multiple criminal charges of sexually assaulting a young girl over a span of four years, according to state police in Greensburg.

David Lee Hresko, 32, was arraigned on charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with a minor, aggravated indecent assault on a girl less than 13 years old, endangering the welfare of children, corruption of minors and indecent exposure. Rostraver District Judge Charles Christner ordered Hresko held in the Westmoreland County Prison on $500,000 bail.

The victim recently reported the abuse to officials at her elementary school after she saw a program on sexual abuse presented by the Blackburn Center, Trooper Joseph Lauricia reported in court documents.

According to Lauricia, school officials reported the alleged incident to the state’s ChildLine abuse hotline which contacted the county Children’s Bureau and state police.

Court documents said the victim detailed the assaults, which she said began in 2015, during a recent interview with Children’s Bureau officials and Lauricia.

A preliminary hearing for Hresko is scheduled April 22.
