Another store is slated to move out of Westmoreland Mall.
Sleep Number, located on the lower level between Sloppy Soap and Champs Sports, will move to a freestanding building at Eastgate Plaza in Hempfield, said Sleep Number spokesperson Julie Elepano.
The news comes weeks after Verizon Wireless, previously located across from Sleep Number in the mall, closed its doors.
Six stores announced national closures this year, which impacted the mall, including Sears, which closed March 17; Charlotte Russe; Helzberg Diamonds, which closed March 24; Gymboree; Payless ShoeSource and Dressbarn.
BonTon closed in August and is being renovated for a mini casino.
According to Elepano, about two-thirds of Sleep Number stores are located in a free standing building or shared plaza. The Eastgate Plaza location is slated to open mid-September.
