A Slickville man died from injuries sustained Saturday evening in a motorcycle crash along Sawmill Road in Loyalhanna Township.
Larry E. Matson Jr., 56, was traveling alone at 6:28 p.m. when his motorcycle left the right side of the road and struck a tree, according to a report from Westmoreland County Coroner Tim Carson.
The report said Matson was not wearing a helmet. Carson’s report said Matson died at 7:40 p.m. of blunt force injuries.
Pennsylvania State Police investigated the crash.
