Slide causes road closure in Herminie

A landslide has caused the emergency closure of a section of Evanstown/Keystone Road in Sewickley Township.

The closure is in effect between Wendel Road and Eighth Street in Herminie, PennDOT officials reported Tuesday.

The road will remain closed until further notice, with motorists directed along a detour following Route 136 and Herminie Road, according to PennDOT.
