A South Greensburg man pleaded guilty Thursday to charges that he recorded video of sexual encounters with a teenage girl.

Police said Nicholas James Rossi, 27, had a seven month sexual relationship with a then 17-year-old girl in 2021 and 2022 in which he recorded their sex acts.

Rossi pleaded guilty to felony counts of pornography, corruption of a minor and illegal use of communications device.

According to court records, Rossi said he and the teen exchanged sexually explicit photographs and that he recorded video of the sexual encounters with the teen, who he first met through social media when she was 16. They did not have physical contact until after she turned 17, Rossi told police.

Investigators said Rossi admitted that he knew the teen was a juvenile and when asked by detectives if he would have done anything differently he responded, “he would have waited until she was 18,” according to court records.

Westmoreland County Common Pleas Court Judge Christopher Feliciani ordered that Rossi can remain free on a $75,000 bond until he is sentenced in about three months.
