One person was taken into custody by state police around 11:30 p.m. Friday after a brief standoff in Export.

State police and Murrysville police closed a small part of the lower section of Italy Road in the borough while responding to a domestic situation.

Police were called to Italy Road in the area of Silvio Court shortly before 10 p.m. for a domestic dispute in which one of the participants might have been armed, emergency officials said.

Shortly after the state police’s Special Emergency Response Team arrived, the situation was resolved. Murrysville Medic One officials said no one was injured.

Additional information was not immediately available.
