The Lincoln Highway SupperMarket is set to return June 1 to the grounds of the Lincoln Highway Experience in Unity.
Now in its ninth year, the outdoor food and music festival will be held each Wednesday through Aug. 24, weather permitting, on the museum grounds at 3435 Route 30 East.
Hours will be 5 to 8 p.m., with seating beginning at 4:30 p.m.
“This is hands-down our most popular event here at the museum,” said Lauren Koker, Lincoln Highway Heritage Corridor executive director.
Local food purveyors returning from last year include Aroma Italiano of Latrobe, Chef Dato’s Table of Derry Township, Connections Cafe of Ligonier and Grateful Smoke BBQ of Greensburg. New this year is Simply Good, a mother-daughter baking and catering team from Ligonier Township.
The musical lineup for the season includes:
• June 1 — Deja Vu
• June 8 — Tim Roberts and Stacey Meyers
• June 15 — The Hamilton Ave. Band
• June 22 — Three Good Reasons
•June 29 — Gary Stewart
• July 6 — Deja Vu
• July 13 — Kyle Greene
• July 20 — Adam Fitz
• July 27 — Detention
• Aug. 3 — Tim Bush
• Aug. 10 — Gary Stewart
• Aug. 17 — Gashouse Annie
• Aug. 24 — Detention
“Our only new musician this year is Kyle Greene; the others have performed here before,” Koker said.
“For musicians, the vibe we’re looking for are (performers) who are local, friendly and play a variety of music that our audience is likely to be familiar with.
“We try to mix it up between musical genres if we can,” she said.
“Most of our musicians tend to play a mix of rock, pop or country favorites, but one of them — Deja Vu — plays jazz music.”
It will be the third time at SupperMarket for Fitz, who said he plays “a wide range of engaging cover songs from The Beatles to Chris Stapleton … mixing familiar songs with stories for a fun and upbeat experience.”
“The people who come out for the food, music and company are so kind and engaging,” he said.
Admission is $5 per car, with food purchased a la carte separately from the vendors. Payment is cash only.
Diners can bring their own beverages. Table space is limited, so attendees are advised to bring chairs or blankets, especially if arriving late.
No outside food or pets are permitted.
If a SupperMarket is canceled because of inclement weather, information will be posted by early afternoon that day on the SupperMarket page at lhhc.org.
