A fresh face is coming to North Huntingdon on Nov. 5.

The Med Spa by B.A. is a new, luxurious sanctuary where customers can feel relaxed and pampered while experiencing a wide range of rejuvenating treatments, from facials to injectables to massages and more.

Katie Jessup owns Bella Amici Salon in Irwin, a business she’s operated for 15 years. But she also saw the need for a different kind of beauty experience.

“After seeing a gap in the local market, we wanted to bring something truly unique to the area. Our goal was to create an elevated spa/med spa experience — offering the top level of luxury and relaxation, but with approachable pricing and added benefit of advanced med spa services.”

Jessup’s team comprises five professionals who are committed to continuing education and professionalism. When Jessup was building the menu of services that The Med Spa by B.A. would offer, she and her employees looked to cutting-edge techniques and technologies not available nearby.

With such high-end, innovative offerings, potential customers might expect to pay top dollar for treatments. But Jessup said they are keeping prices reasonable for the quality of service.

Treatments at Med Spa by B.A. are geared towards enhancing beauty in a calming environment. They perform treatments that will rejuvenate the whole body, including the state-of-the-art Emsculpt and Emface treatments.

“(Emface) basically helps strengthen those facial muscles that we’ve lost over the years,” Jessup said, calling it a good alternative for people who are nervous about injectables like Botox but want similar results. It pairs great with injectables as well.

Its counterpart Emsculpt is a full-body version that provides definition and tone.

They also offer cryotherapy; lip, brow and lash enhancements; chemical peels, salmon DNA facials; and a range of relaxing and therapeutic massage that includes prenatal massage, bamboo massage, cupping, hot stone massage.

“We really want to be able to help people. We are results-driven — that’s our motto. We are not going to sell people things that are not going to work,” Jessup said.

To that end, they also offer packages that allow customers to buy multiple sessions of treatments like microneedling, hydrafacials and chemical peels.

Jessup said that the packages are designed to ensure better results from treatments where one session isn’t enough. “The reason for the packages is that it isn’t a one-stop shop,” she said. “Most people will need numerous sessions for optimal results. Or maybe it’s a combination of treatments. Once the provider assesses the patient and what their goals are, they will create a treatment plan for them. They will customize the package to the patient’s needs at a better price.”

At the spa’s grand opening on Nov. 5 from 4 to 7 p.m., Jessup is focused on showing potential customers what they can expect from the business.

For those curious about Emsculpt and Emface, Jessup will be offering demonstrations. “We’re going to let people also try out the machines and get the chance to have a demo done on them,” she said.

The team will also offer mini-consultations and special pricing on injectables. Representatives from a number of their suppliers will be present to explain and demonstrate their wares and services.

Discounts will also be offered on their Tox injectable products, Filler, skincare items and more.

“We’re also going to be having lots of raffles,” Jessup said. “The main raffle is free Tox (Dysport) for a year.”

Wine and light bites will be offered at the celebration as well.
