A home in Trafford will be heated well this winter after a new furnace was installed for free Saturday morning through a charity program.

TUDI Mechanical Systems and Dollar Bank provided 20 furnaces to Pittsburgh-area families through the annual Heat For The Needy program, according to a news release.

Employees and their families delivered and installed the systems Saturday. Families in need can be nominated by others and the 20 who received furnaces went through interviews and home visits.

The program has provided and installed more than 215 new heaters over the past 19 years, according to the release.
