The Trafford Community Public Library will reopen July 13, 2020.

The Trafford Community Public Library will reopen July 13 with new health and safety guidelines in place for patrons.

The library’s new hours will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; and 3-7 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.

Patrons must wear masks unless they have a medical condition, and no public restrooms will be available.

All items must be returned to the outside drop box prior to entering the library, a limited number of patrons will be permitted in at one time, and social distancing must be maintained. Loitering in groups will not be permitted.

Children must be accompanied by an adult in the library’s Children’s Room for book selection only.

Computer use will be limited to one hour with two computers available.

In addition, books transferred from other libraries will take longer since they must be quarantined before being released.

The library is at 416 Brinton Ave. For more, see TraffordLibrary.org.
