A Unity man said he discovered a woman inside his home Wednesday who initially refused to leave and then threatened to kill him, state police said.

Troopers said when the Lightcap Road homeowner told Lisa M. McCracken, 56, also of Unity, to get out of his house about 8:45 p.m. Wednesday she repeatedly threatened him.

“(McCracken) stated she was going to have people come to his home and kill him,” Trooper Jeffrey Callihan wrote in court documents filed before District Judge Michael Mahady.

She did leave after the resident called police, Callihan said. Police reported McCracken returned to her residence nearby along Ric Mic Lane.

When troopers went to her home to question her about illegally entering another home and repeatedly threatening its resident, McCracken continued to make threats to harm the man, police reported.

McCracken is charged with criminal trespassing and making terroristic threats. According to court dockets, she has two other pending hearings before Mahady for harassment and criminal mischief.

She was ordered held in the county jail on $1,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled Aug. 31.
