Traffic was restricted Tuesday in the area of the Route 366 (Greensburg Road) and Route 380 interchange at the border of Murrysville and Washington Townships after a triaxle truck fire and fuel spill, according to a Westmoreland 911 dispatch supervisor.

The triaxle apparently caught fire and a saddle tank ruptured around 9:30 a.m., spewing diesel fuel on Route 366 in Murrysville near Ludwig Road. No injuries were reported.

Pucketa Creek is close by and hazmat crews were on scene trying to contain the fuel. The saddle tank holds about 150 gallons, but it was unclear how much was inside of it at the time, the dispatcher said.
