A Unity man was ordered held in the county prison on $10,000 bond after a girl told state troopers she was sexually assaulted by the man multiple times over two years, according to court records.

Tracy Higdon, 47, is charged with aggravated indecent assault on a person less than 13 years old, corruption of minors, criminal solicitation, indecent exposure and unlawful contact with a minor in connection with multiple assaults that allegedly began in 2019.

The victim detailed the assaults in an interview Tuesday with Trooper Robert Politowski at the state police barracks in Greensburg, according to court documents.

The victim told Politowski that Higdon touched her inappropriately and then forced her to touch his “private parts,” according to court documents.

Politowski said the victim told him during the interview that she told Higdon to stop to no avail.

Higdon admitted assaulting the girl in an interview with Politowski, according to court documents.

Higdon’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 29. He did not have an attorney listed in court documents. According to online court dockets, Higdon has no prior criminal record in Pennsylvania.
