A doctor’s office in a South Greensburg building was damaged Saturday afternoon when a vehicle drove into it, crashing through the exterior.

The front wall of Dr. Geoffrey B. Monsour’s office was smashed when the vehicle hit the brick building and pushed into the doctor’s waiting room. Doors to the office also were damaged and glass was shattered.

A man cleaning up debris from the crash, said an exterior wall was cracked from the force of the crash.

“Thank God it happened when no one was here,” said the man, who declined to be identified.

South Greensburg police and Matt Anderson of Greensburg, owner of the property, could not be reached for comment Sunday.
