St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Wilpen is holding an ethnic food sale.
The event is take-out only and items may be ordered through Aug. 14. Pick-up date is Aug. 30. Items available are: halpuki, $25 for a dozen, $15 for a half dozen; $8 for ethnic platter which includes a halupki, two pierogies and a haluski.

Cash or check payment due at time of pick up. The church is located at 315 Wilpen, Ligonier.
Donations
The West Newton Library has begun taking donations of used hardcover, paperback, children’s and non-fiction books, as well as DVDs.
Cookbooks, encloypedias and Bibles will not be accepted. They can be dropped off during regular hours — 12-5 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays, 12-7 p.m. Wednesdays and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays or on the ramp side of the building porch.
The library is located at 124 N. Water St.
