Westmoreland County adds 14 new coronavirus cases

Westmoreland County saw 14 new coronavirus cases, according to data released Sunday by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

The new cases bring the county’s total to 1,537 with 46 deaths. Of those cases, 1,494 are confirmed and 43 probable.

There have been 31,728 negative tests, according to the state.

The county’s seven-day average remained at 14 new cases.

In the county, there have been 21 nursing homes and personal care homes with coronavirus cases. There have been 189 cases among residents, 50 among employees and 31 deaths.
