It was the fourth day this week with a double-digit increase in cases. Prior to this week the last increase of that size was in late April.

More than 15,500 county residents have tested negative for the virus.

Statewide, there have been 83,770 recorded cases of coronavirus, and 6,447 deaths, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

Westmoreland County moved to the green phase of Gov. Tom Wolf’s phased reopening plan June 5.
