Westmoreland County has 9 new coronavirus cases, no new deaths
The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Saturday reported nine new covid-19 cases in Westmoreland County and no additional deaths.
The countywide case total is now 519, with 38 deaths, according to the Health Department.
There have been no reported coronavirus deaths reported in the county since May 18.
More than 13,990 county residents have tested negative for the virus.
Statewide, there have been 81,266 recorded cases of the coronavirus and 6,419 deaths, according to the Health Department.
Westmoreland County moved to the green phase of Gov. Tom Wolf’s reopening plan June 5.
