A Westmoreland County man died following a motorcycle crash last month in Somerset County.

William Riley, 77, of Mt. Pleasant died Sunday at the Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, according to Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees.

On May 24, Riley was driving along Edie Road in Jefferson Township, Somerset County, when he lost control of his motorcycle and was ejected, Lees said.

Riley was flown by medical helicopter to the hospital where he succumbed to traumatic upper torso injuries, 14 days after the crash, Lees said.

Riley was not wearing a helmet.
