Westmoreland County’s Prothonotary Office will process passports at next week’s Health and Wellness Expo in Hempfield.
The event, which will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Ramada by Wyndham Greensburg Hotel and Conference Center, will feature information booths detailing programs and services for seniors, persons with disabilities and care givers.
The county’s prothonotary office primarily oversees the filing of civil and family court documents but also serves as a processing center for passports.
Those seeking to apply for passports and photographs at the health fair are asked to bring a birth certificate and drivers’ licenses for identification. The cost to apply for a first passport is $155 and includes a picture. The cost for a passport card $75 . Pictures for passport renewals cost $10. Routine and expedited services are available.
