Westmoreland County reports 14 new covid-19 cases

Westmoreland County on Thursday reported 14 new cases of coronavirus.

That brings the county’s total cases to 1,851.

There were no new deaths attributed to covid-19, leaving the total at 49 since Aug. 19, according to data from the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

Of the county’s total cases, 1,790 are confirmed and 61 are probable. There have been 37,895 people who tested negative for coronavirus.

Westmoreland County has just two patients currently hospitalized for the virus, with one using a ventilator.
