• Boy Scout Troop 284 of Irwin is selling Pie Shoppe pies and pumpkin rolls for Thanksgiving. Cost: $9.75. • Latrobe Lions will hold their annual fall broom sale from 9:30 a.m. to noon Nov. 7 in the Lincoln Road Shopping Center, 606 Cedar St., Latrobe. Profits benefit services for the blind and other community services.
Health
• A community drive-thru distribution of free naloxone (Narcan) and Deterra drug deactivation bags will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Nov. 12 in the parking lot of Calvary Church, 8653 Pennsylvania Ave., Irwin.
When administered quickly and effectively, Narcan is used to counteract the effects of opioids taken in life-threatening quantities. Instruction on the administration of Narcan will be provided. Participants should remain in their vehicles.
