Westmoreland events include tree sale, light up night, live Nativity
Fundraiser
• Boy Scout Troop 284 will sell Fraser fir Christmas trees Friday-Sunday and again Dec. 12-14 at the Norwin Busy Beaver, 8800 Norwin Ave., North Huntingdon. Hours are 5-9 p.m. Fridays, 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sundays. Maximum price will be $65.
Live Nativity
• Union Presbyterian Church will host a free drive-thru Nativity from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the church, 656 Route 380. Church members will create five live scenes from the Nativity story. Visitors can hear the story on their car radio or through a link on their cell phone.
Light Up Night
The Light Up Level Green Promenade Pajama Party will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Level Green Fire Hall, Route 130. Participants are encouraged to wear pajamas and drive through to wave to Santa and place their letters into his mailbox. Letters with a return address will receive a reply. There will be goodie bags and live music by the Penn Trafford Community Band Holiday Ensemble. Designated parking will be available. Sponsored by the Community Women’s Club of Level Green, Level Green Lions Club and Level Green Volunteer Fire Department.
Meeting
• The Greensburg chapter of the Women’s Business Network will meet at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 9 online. Those attending can learn how the group supports the success and growth of women in business. Details: Kathy Ribnisky, 724-875-6216
