Westmoreland happenings: art show, bingo and omelet breakfast

Art

• The annual Member’s Show at Greensburg Art Center will open Saturday and continue through April 9. An opening reception with a featured speaker will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the center, 230 Todd School Road. Exhibits will include paintings, photographs and fabric media. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. Admission is free.

Fundraisers

• Lincoln Heights Civic Association will host bingo from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the center, 42 Millersdale Road, Jeannette. There will be 20 regular games and five quickies. Cost: 25 cents for a three-card bingo board and $1 for quickies. Payout is 50/50. Free coffee.

• An all-you-can-eat omelet breakfast will be from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday at St. Pius X Church social hall, Summit Street, Mt. Pleasant. Cost: $8; age 3 to 12, $3, younger than 3, free. Dine in or takeout. There will be a 50/50 raffle. Sponsored by the church Holy Name Society.

• A Valentine’s dinner dance will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Feb. 5 at St. James Church, 306 St. James Lane. Menu: chicken, rigatoni, parsley potatoes, vegetable, salad and dessert. Cost: $15; 12 and younger, $7. Reservations required by Feb. 1. Reservations: 724-668-2829 or stjamesnewalexandria.org.

• Derry First United Methodist Church is accepting reservations for Swiss steak dinner planned from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Feb. 12 at the church, 311 N. Ligonier St. Cost: $12, dine in or takeout. Reservations: 724-694-8333, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
