• Manor Lions Club will collect nonperishable food and monetary donations for the Manor Food Pantry while polls are open April 23 at the borough polling place. Those who vote by mail and wish to contribute can email Joy Clontz at jrare4@comcast.net.
• Community Revitalization of West Newton will sponsor a 5K Red, White and Blue Color Run and Walk at 9 a.m. May 18. The event will begin and end in the borough Vine Street Park. Details: crown15089@yahoo.com.
• The Mother’s Day edition of Bingo for Babies to benefit the Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank will be May 11 at Youngwood Volunteer Fire Department, 104 S. Second St. Doors open at 3:30 p.m., a buffet dinner will be at 4 p.m. and bingo will begin at 5. Cost: $35 in advance; $40 at the door; includes dinner, 14 regular games, four quickie games, three specials and a jackpot with three chances to win.
