Art

• You Are Here in Jeannette is hosting an exhibit of expressionist paintings by local artist Tony Naponic at the gallery, 406 Clay Ave. Hours: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Other hours available by appointment. Details: yah504clay.org.

Christmas

• St. James Church, 306 St. James Lane, New Alexandria, will sponsor a live Nativity from 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 12 on the church grounds. The public is invited to walk through the displays of live animals, angels, shepherds and the Holy Family. Lessons and Carols will be performed and refreshments served. Church News

• Greensburg Church of the Brethren hosts a night of fun and fellowship for individuals and groups with developmental disabilities from 5 to 7 p.m. Mondays at the church, 554 Stanton St., Southwest Greensburg. Classes

• YWCA Westmoreland is accepting registration for two classes planned Dec. 12. “Social Media Mastery: Strategy, Content and Growth” will be offered from 1 to 3 p.m. at the center, 424 N. Fundraisers

• A dine-to-donate event to benefit Mon Valley Paws will be at 4 p.m. Dec. 11 at Small Town Tavern, 110 Sara Way, Rostraver. There will be a basket auction and 50-50 and a percentage of sales will be donated. Details: 724-493-8305.

Meetings

• South Hills Coin Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 9 at the Bethel Park Municipal Building, 5100 W. Library Ave. There will be a 50-50 raffle and prizes for children. This will be the annual Christmas pizza party. Public welcome. Membership applications are being accepted. Details: 724-984-6611.

• The Braddock Trail chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet Dec 13 at the chapter house, 200 S. Church St., Mt. Pleasant. Lunch will be at noon and the meeting will be at 1 p.m. The program will be presented by the CAR State President Reinhard Brasko.
