Art
• The Westmoreland Museum of American Art will host an exhibition of the works of Michael Max Mosorjak through the end of October at the museum, 221 N. Main St., Greensburg. From 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 15, there will be a meet and greet with the artist, an art scavenger hunt, music and light refreshments. Cost: $12 in advance; museum members, $10; $15 at the door flat rate. • Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art at Ligonier Valley will host a discussion and demonstration, “All You Wanted to Know About Art Materials,” from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and 2:30 to 4 p.m. Oct. 30 at the museum, 1 Boucher Lane, Ligonier Township. • Sacred Heart and Ascension churches of Jeannette will sponsor a public Rosary rally and procession at noon Oct. 16 in the McKee Avenue parking lot, Jeannette. The event is to honor Our Lady of Fatima. Rain or shine. There will be tents; bring a chair.
• No Walls Ministries, New Alexandria, will celebrate the church’s 11th anniversary at 4 p.m. Oct. 16 on the church lawn, 214 Church St. There will be food, music, games, hayrides and face painting. • Derry First Methodist Church will host a fall vendor show and stuffed pork chop dinner Oct. 16 at the church, 311 N. Ligonier St. The vendor show will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the stuffed pork chop dinner will be afterward. • Fairview Church of God will have a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to noon Fridays through the end of October at the church, 2202-2206 Route 982, Mt. Pleasant Township. All items in the first building will be half off on Oct. 15.
• Animal Friends Sanctuary, 215 Smith Hill Road, Unity Township, hosts the Great Pumpkin fundraiser from noon to 1 p.m. weekdays. Pumpkins, squash and gourds are available in the upper barn for a donation. All produce was grown naturally at the sanctuary. After Halloween, bring your used pumpkin back for the animals to eat. Proceeds benefit the sanctuary.

• Greensburg Hempfield Area Library will hold its annual free Pumpkin Patch Walk from 1 to 3 p.m. Oct. 16 at St. Clair Park, 135 N. Maple St., Greensburg. There will be games, activities, crafts and more. No reservations required.
• Adams Memorial Library, Latrobe, will offer, “An Evening with Edgar Allen Poe,” at 6 p.m. Oct. 20 at the library, 1112 Ligonier St. Literary historian Rob Levella will portray Poe and read from his works. Registration required. Registration: 724-539-1972
