• Greensburg Church of the Brethren hosts a night of fun and fellowship for individuals and groups with developmental disabilities from 5 to 7 p.m. Mondays at the church, 554 Stanton St., Southwest Greensburg. Fundraisers
• First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon, 501 Fayette Ave., Rostraver, will host its annual antique and classic car show from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at the church. Cars, trucks and motorcycles welcome. Admission: $10. Details: 724-929-7616.
• Friends of Sewickley Township Public Library will sponsor a yard sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 9, in the Crabapple Park pavilion, 1415 Herminie-West Newton Road, rain or shine. Baked goods will be sold.

History
• Baltzer Meyer Historical Society will sponsor a program about the history of coal mining from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at Harrold Hall, 642 Baltzer Meyer Pike, Hempfield. Elizabeth Rodenz, author of “Josephine: A Woman of Indomitable Spirit,” will be the speaker.
Meetings

• Westmoreland Garden Council will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, at the center, 951 Old Salem Road, Greensburg. Patty Schildcamp will discuss no-dig gardening. A light lunch will be served. Public welcome.
Reunions
• The annual reunion of Latrobe Area Hospital employees and retirees will be at 1 p.m. Aug. 14 at the Slovak Society Picnic Area, 1210 Industrial Blvd., Derry Township. Bring a covered dish to share. Cost: $5, for rent and supplies. There will be a DJ, door prizes, a basket auction, raffle for a robot vacuum and 50-50 raffle. Funds raised will be used for next year’s picnic.

Senior Citizens
• Irwin Senior Activity Center, 310 Oak St., will have a history program about the Bushy Run battle at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5. National Root Beer Float Day will be celebrated Wednesday, Aug. 6. • North Huntingdon AARP will meet at noon Thursday, Aug. 7, in Mack Hall, 200 Leger Road. Rob Stewart will lead a sing-along to oldies and light refreshments will be available. Tickets will be sold for the annual picnic planned for noon Sept. 4 at Chestnut Pavilion in White Oak Park. Lunch by the Lunch Lady on Wheels will be served at 1:30 p.m. Cost: $15.
