Art

• The Westmoreland Museum of American Art, 221 N. Main St., Greensburg, will have a free Sunday Fun Day celebration from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 9 as part of its Black History Month celebration. There will be live music, community partner tables, activities and food vendors. Reservations required: thewestmoreland.org/events.

Church News

• Greensburg Church of the Brethren hosts a night of fun and fellowship for individuals and groups with developmental disabilities from 5 to 7 p.m. Mondays at the church, 554 Stanton St., Southwest Greensburg. Dinner is included. Participants must be accompanied by a family member or caregiver. Donations will be accepted. Details: 724-834-2130 or gbgcob.org.

Fundraisers

• Lincoln Heights Civic Association will have bingo from 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 6 at the center, 42 Millersdale Road, Hempfield. There will be 20 regular games and five quickies. Payout is 50-50. Free coffee. Cost: 25 cents for a three-card board; $1 for quickies.

• Jeannette American Legion Auxiliary is accepting entries for its annual chili cook-off set for 1 to 4 p.m. Feb. 22 at the post, 109 S. Fifth St. Entry fee: $5. Awards will be given out at 4 p.m. Registration: text or leave a message at 412-452-7215.

• St. Barbara Parish, Harrison City, will host its monthly bingo at 6:45 p.m. Feb. 5 at the church, 111 Raymaley Road. Doors open at 5 p.m. Admission: $29, includes regular, specials, magic number and the jackpot games. Free coffee. The kitchen will be open and the building is accessible. • Jeannette Knights of Columbus hosts bingo at 7 p.m. Fridays in Mersinger Hall at Ascension Church, 615 Division St., Jeannette. Doors open at 6 p.m. and early birds begin at 6:30 p.m. Players younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Smoke-free venue. Food will be available, and there will be a 50-50 and instant bingo. • Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 6 p.m. Wednesdays at Union Presbyterian Church, 656 Route 380, Washington Township.

Meetings

• Westmoreland Garden Council, formerly known as the Greensburg Garden Center, will meet at 11 a.m. Feb. 4 at the center, 951 Old Salem Road, Greensburg. Guest speaker Mary Bach will discuss scams and how to avoid them. Nonperishable food items will be collected for the Westmoreland County Food Bank. A light lunch will be served. Public welcome. • Holiday Park United Methodist Church, 81 Sandune Drive, Plum, has a group that sews baby quilts for donation to those in need and the Linus Project. New members are welcome. The group meets from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the second and fourth Mondays of each month in the chapel. Sewing and quilting instructions are provided and no equipment is needed. Details: 724-327-6552.

Senior Citizen News

• Irwin Senior Activity Center, 310 Oak St., will have basket bingo at 12:15 p.m. Feb. 4. Coffee hour is at 8 a.m. each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Lunch reservations required one day in advance. Donations are accepted for all activities. Details: 724-787-1760.
