• Action for Animals Humane Society will sponsor a “Love Is In the Air” fundraiser from 6 to 9 p.m. Feb. 8 at Rizzo’s Malabar Inn Reception Hall, Crabtree. Cost is $60 and includes an Italian dinner buffet, appetizers and dessert. There will be a cash bar, a basket raffle, special raffles and entertainment. Reservations required by Jan. 24. • A fundraiser to benefit Mon Valley Paws will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Jan. 23 at Small Town Tavern, 110 Sara Way, Belle Vernon. A percentage of all receipts will be donated to Mon Valley Paws. Bring a pet food or supply donation to be entered into a raffle for a gift bag. Details: 724-793-8305.

• Level Green Lions Club will sponsor a dinner theater fundraiser “I Loathe Lucy,” Jan. 25 at the Level Green Community Building, 123 Murrysville Road, Trafford. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 6 p.m. Menu: chicken Romano, rice pilaf, mixed vegetables, dessert and beverage. BYOB. Cost: $50. Prayer breakfast

• The 50th annual Westmoreland County Prayer Breakfast will be Jan. 24 at Stratigos Banquet Center, 131 Colonial Manor Road, North Huntingdon. Doors open at 7 a.m. and the program begins at 7:45 a.m. The theme will be, “Our Bright Future: Investing In Our Youth.” The keynote speaker will be Joel Guinen, student ministry pastor at Cornerstone Ministries. Theater

• Westmoreland Performing Arts Student Companies will present three Peter Pan musicals at the Science Hall Theatre on the campus of Westmoreland County Community College, Youngwood. The Shooting Stars Class of 4- to 7-year-olds will perform the minimusical, “The Shadow of Peter” at 11 a.m. Jan. 25. The Tween Musical Theater Showcase Class of children age 8 to 13 will stage “Peter Pan – A Musical Adventure” at 6 p.m. Jan. 24 and 25. The Teen Musical Theatre Showcase Class of students 13 to 18 years old will perform the musical, “Tink” at 8:30 p.m. Jan. 24 and 2 and 8:30 p.m. Jan. 25. A Neverland Brunch will be served from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in the theater lobby. Brunch cost: $10. Tickets: 724-672-3322 or discoverwpa.com.
