Arts

• The Irwin Male Chorus will present a concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 17 at Community United Presbyterian Church, 1640 Keystone Park Road, New Alexandria. Refreshments will be served. Details: 724-668-7752.

• The Westmoreland Performing Art Professional Theatre Company will present “A Christmas Story – The Musical” Dec. 22 and 23 at the Palace Theatre, Greensburg. All seats are general admission. Cost: $22.50; children, $12.50.

Church News

• The Church of the Advent, 51 S. First St., Jeannette, will present a Festival of Lessons and Carols at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 17 at the church. Public welcome. Details: 724-396-3911.

• Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1120 Harvey Ave., Greensburg, will offer a time of quiet prayer and reflection at 5 p.m. Dec. 17 for anyone who has lost a loved one or is lonely, depressed or anxious. Details: 724-837-3540.

Fundraisers

• There will be bingo Sundays at Marian Hall at St. Bartholomew Church, 2538 Route 119, Crabtree. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. and early birds begin at 1:30 p.m. There will be no bingo Dec. 24 or 31. Details: 724-834-0709.

• A Breakfast with Santa will be from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Dec. 16 at the Greensburg Masonic Center, 349 Donohoe Road, Hempfield. Menu: pancakes, waffles, sausage links, fruit and beverages. There will be games and activities for children. Cost: $10; age 4 to 10, $5, younger than 4, free.

Holiday Events

• Level Green Presbyterian Church will host a live Nativity Dec. 15 on the front lawn of the church, 105 Olive Drive, Penn Township. Visiting with the animals will be at 6:45 p.m. and the program will begin at 7 p.m. There will be caroling, and hot chocolate, hot cider, coffee and cookies will be served afterward. A craft area for children will have cookie decorating and face painting. Bring a canned food item for the Trafford Food Bank. Parking is limited so carpooling is recommended. Details: 412-372-5370.
