Fundraiser
• Lincoln Heights Civic Association will have bingo from 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 21 at the center, 42 Millersdale Road, Hempfield. There will be 20 regular games and five quickies. Cost: 25 cents for a three-card board; $1 for quickies. Payout is 50/50. Free coffee.
Health
• Laurelville Retreat Center will host a New Year’s Kick-off Zumba party at 10 a.m. Jan. 6 in the center Shenandoah gymnasium, 941 Laurelville Lane, Mt. Pleasant Township. Cost: $15 per person; $24 per couple. Reservations: tinyurl.com/2s3ddjhj or at the door.
Meeting
• The Greensburg College Club will meet at 2 p.m. Dec. 21 at Greensburg Garden and Civic Center, 951 Old Salem Road. The Hempfield Area High School Show Choir will entertain. Public welcome.
Senior news
• The Herminie Center for Active Adults will host an 1980s-themed New Year’s Party at 11 a.m. Dec. 29 at the center, 101 Sewickley Ave., rear. There will be a DJ and those attending are welcome to dress in 1980s attire. Free admission. Details: 724-446-3282.
• The Irwin Senior Activity Center, located in First Methodist Church, 310 Oak St., will have a movie day with snacks at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 20. The center will be closed from Dec. 25 through Jan. 1.
