Church News

• Greensburg Church of the Brethren will host a night of fun and fellowship for individuals and groups with developmental disabilities from 5 to 7 p.m. Mondays at the church, 554 Stanton St., Southwest Greensburg. Dinner is included. Participants must be accompanied by a family member or caregiver. Donations will be accepted. Details: 724-834-2130 or gbgcob.org.

Fundraisers

• Mon Valley Paws will sponsor its annual give-back program at 6 p.m. Dec. 3 at Foster House, 1 Cook Road, Washington Township, Fayette County. Valley First Community Federal Credit Union will be recognized as sponsor of the year and five people and organizations will be recognized for their efforts on behalf of Mon Valley Paws. • Lincoln Heights Civic Association will have bingo from 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 5 at the center, 42 Millersdale Road, Hempfield. There will be 20 regular games and five quickies. Payout is 50/50. Free coffee. Cost: 25 cents for a three-card board; $1 for quickies.

• Export and Upper Burrell volunteer fire companies are selling 2025 lottery calendars. Cost: $20. Details: ubvc115training@gmail.com.

• Westmoreland Garden Council, formerly known as the Greensburg Garden Center, will sponsor its annual Christmas sale from 1 to 7 p.m. Dec. 6 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 7 at the center, 951 Old Salem Road, Greensburg. Items available will include decorated wreaths, trees, fresh greens, hanging baskets and kissing balls. Ham barbeques and cookies will be sold. Advance orders recommended for fresh greens. • Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 6 p.m. Wednesdays at Union Presbyterian Church, 656 Route 380, Washington Township.

Music

• The Laurel Harmony Chorus, a chapter of the Sweet Adelines International, will present its holiday show at 2 p.m. Dec. 14 at Maplewood Presbyterian Church, 108 Woodland Road, Hempfield. Sweet Adelines guest quartets also will be featured. Free parking is available. Cost: $10; 12 and younger, $5, includes light refreshments and a chance for a door prize. • The Kiski Valley Community Band will present a Christmas concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 7 at Christ Lutheran Church, 5330 Old Logan Ferry Road, Murrysville. Donations will be accepted to benefit Trinity Lutheran Church of Pittsburgh, and the Kiski Valley Food Bank.

• The West Newton Community Singers will present a concert of Christmas music at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 6 at West Newton United Presbyterian Church, 411 E Main St. Cost: $7; at the door, $8; children, $5. Senior Citizens

• Irwin Senior Activity Center, 310 Oak St., will have red and green bingo at 12:15 p.m. Dec. 3. The Norwin Show Choir will perform a holiday show at 2 p.m. Dec. 4. Reservations required.
