Include a complete address and daytime phone number. Submissions are due at least two weeks before the event. Each announcement is printed once; there is no fee.
Fundraisers
• Bingo will be at 6:45 p.m. Jan. 4 at St. Barbara Parish, 111 Raymaley Road, Penn Township. Doors open at 5 p.m. Paper packages start at $27. There will be a must-go jackpot, specials, an all-nighter and magic number and free coffee. The kitchen will be open and the building is wheelchair accessible. Details: 724-744-4584 or 724-744-7474.
• Herminie Center for Active Adults will have a Day at the Races at 1 p.m. Jan. 4 at the center, 101 Sewickley Ave. rear. Admission: $5. Reservations and details: 724-446-3282.
Health
• Laurelville Retreat Center will offer Rumble exercise classes at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays in January at the center, 941 Laurelville Lane, Mt. Pleasant Township. Reservations are preferred. Youth camp
• Laurelville Retreat Center will offer a winter youth camp Jan. 13 to 15 for children in second through eighth grade at the center, 941 Laurelville Lane, Mt. Pleasant Township. Campers will stay in the camp lodge or winterized cabins with counselors and campers in their age group. There will be winter activities, worship, music, Bible lessons and more.
