• The third annual West Point Little League bingo fundraiser will be Nov. 14 at West Point Volunteer Fire Department, 100 Volunteer Drive, Hempfield. Halloween
• Walker’s Pet HoTail Pet Care Center will host Howl-O-Ween parties for dogs and their owners from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 18 at the 4603 William Penn Highway, Murrysville, location; and at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at 1751 Lincoln Highway, North Versailles. Photos will be available by donation at 2:30 p.m. at each location for pets who do not want or should not attend. There will be a costume contest, games and a basket raffle. Cash only. • A free grief workshop for children, “Memory Makers,” will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Latrobe Art Center, 819 Ligonier St. Sponsored by Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home, the event is designed for children 5 to 12 and their support person. Lecture
• A free lecture, “Ethical Leadership: Why Integrity Matters,” will be offered by the Notre Dame Club of Greensburg/Uniontown at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, in the auditorium of Franklin Regional High School, 3200 School Road, Murrysville. The speaker will be associate teaching professor Jessica McManus Warnell from the University of Notre Dame.
