Easter events
• Community Easter dinner, 4 to 7 p.m. March 24 at Cook Township Community Center, 1698 Route 711. Sponsored by Stahlstown Trinity Community Church. Donations will be accepted.
• Egg hunt for children and dogs, noon to 3 p.m. March 28 at Yinzer Valley Farms, 681 Mulberry Road, East Huntingdon. Sponsored by Top Dog Therapy Team, there will be separate yards for children and canines to search for eggs, photos with the Easter Bunny, crafts, vendors, food, prizes and a basket raffle. Dogs must be on a non-retractable leash. Cost: $10 per family.
Fundraisers
• The 18th annual Race for Grace that supports the Reflections of Grace Foundation will be held March 28 at Norwin High School, 251 McMahon Drive, North Huntingdon. Opening activities, check-in and concessions will begin at 7 a.m. and the race starts at 9. Indoor activities after the race will include games, dance performances, a basket raffle, silent auction, charitable hair donations and awards ceremony. Reflections of Grace Foundation provides financial, emotional and educational support to children and their families affected by pediatric brain cancer. Details: reflections ofgrace.org.
• St. Pius X Parish in Mt. Pleasant will sell frozen pierogi and paska Easter bread in the school portico entrance, 222 Summit St. Dates: 4 to 6 p.m. March 27, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 28 and 9 a.m. to noon March 29. Cost: pierogi, $14 per dozen; 1.5-pound braided paska, $8; 2-pound round loaf, $10. Both are available with and without raisins. Details: 724-547-1911.
Health
• The Mall Walkers at Westmoreland Mall, Route 30 in Hempfield, will meet March 26 in the mall food court. Meetings

Scholarship
• Norwin Art League is accepting applications for its annual $1,000 scholarship. Applicants must be local high school students who will attend college and major in the visual art field or in education focusing on the visual arts. Deadline: April 20. Senior citizens
• Irwin Senior Activity Center, 310 Oak St., will have Easter bingo at 12:15 p.m. March 24. Christian Mothers from Immaculate Conception Parish will give a presentation about women in the Bible at 11:30 a.m. March 26. Donations are accepted for all activities. Details: 724-787-1760.
