Fundraisers
• Westmoreland County Federation of SNPG Lodges will host a benefit polka dance from 2 to 6 p.m. July 27 at the Yukon Slovenian Hall, 137 Yukon Ave. Music will be by the Polka Classics. There will be food, beverages, a silent auction and door prizes. Proceeds will benefit local cancer patients. Cost: $15. Details: Lois Denning, 412-554-7404.

Nature
• Westmoreland Woodlands Improvement Association will sponsor a free frog walk from 8 to 9 p.m. July 27 at the Westmoreland Conservation District grounds, 218 Donohoe Road, Hempfield. Reunion
• The East Huntingdon High School Combined Class Reunion will be Aug. 30 at East Huntingdon Fire Hall, 120 Fire Department Road, Tarrs. Reservation deadline: Aug. 1. This will be the last combined reunion. Details and reservations: 724-832-3765.
Senior citizen news
• Irwin Senior Activity Center, 310 Oak St., will have beach bingo and celebrate July birthdays at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 22. Registration for events and lunch required at least one day in advance. Donations will be accepted for all activities. Details: 724-787-1760.
Veterans news
• Norwin Elks will host a free summer picnic for veterans and active duty personnel, including Reservists and National Guard, and their caregivers from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 5 at the lodge, 135 Elks Lane, Manor.
