• Greensburg Art Center and Greensburg Hempfield Area Library will sponsor an exhibit, “The Figure Drawing Artists of Greensburg,” through July 29 at the library, 237 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Greensburg.

• Community United Presbyterian Church, 1640 Keystone Park Road, New Alexandria, has begun to observe a summer schedule. Sunday services will begin at 10 a.m.
Classes
• YWCA Westmoreland will offer classes in Microsoft Word from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. June 19, 20, 26 and 27 at the center, 424 N. Main St., Greensburg. Cost: $20. Reservations: 724-834-9390.

• West Newton Public Library, 124 N. Water St., will have a jewelry and book sale from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 14, in the library parking lot as part of the town’s community yard sale event.
• The E C Cruisers Car Club will host a car cruise in cooperation with the Bovard Volunteer Fire Department Burger Bash from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 13, at the fire hall, 2 Washington St., Bovard, Hempfield. Rain or shine. There will be door prizes, a ticket auction, a DJ and bake sale. The fire department will sell food and refreshments. Details: eccruisers.org.
• The Braddock Trail Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution will sponsor a basket bazaar June 21 at Kecksburg Volunteer Fire Hall, 5128 Water St., Mt. Pleasant Township. Doors open at noon and ticket drawings will begin at 1:30 p.m. Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Cost: $15, includes 25 basket raffle tickets, a door prize chance and refreshments. There will be a 50-50 and separate high-end raffle baskets. Must be present to win. Kecksburg Volunteer Firemen’s Auxiliary will sell a limited lunch menu. Proceeds benefit the DAR’s historic renovation project. A limited number of tickets will be sold at the door. History
• Historic Hanna’s Town, 809 Forbes Trail Road, Hempfield, will host Frontier Family Days from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 14, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. next Sunday, June 15. There will be reenactors, military encampments, children’s activities and food. A new exhibit will feature historic clothing from the Westmoreland Historical Society’s permanent collection. Senior Citizen News
• A Seniors for Safe Driving class will be offered from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 17 at Murrysville Senior Center, 3091 Carson Ave. Sponsored by state Rep. Jill Cooper, the class is PennDOT-approved and for drivers at least 55 years old. Safe drivers can receive a 5 percent discount on auto insurance for three years. • Irwin Senior Activity Center, 310 Oak St., will have red, white and blue bingo at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 10.
