Fundraisers

• A fundraiser to benefit the West Newton Church of God mission trip to New Mexico will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Country Custard Cottage and Gift Shop, 1503 Mars Hill Road, Sewickley Township. Mention the fundraiser and 30% of your purchase price will be donated for the trip.

Music

• The Delmont Area Concert Band will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday at Delmont Public Library, 75 School St. Bring a lawn chair.

Reunion

• Hempfield High School Class of 1968 will have a free reunion from 1 to 5 p.m. Aug. 24 at Greenhouse Winery, 2155 Gracin Lane, Sewickley Township. No reservations required. Bring your favorite picnic dish to share, but no drinks. There will be live music, and picnic supplies will be provided. Details: Hempfield HS Class of 1968 Reunion on Facebook.

Senior citizen news

• Irwin Senior Activity Center, 310 Oak St., will have a plant exchange Tuesday. Bring a potted plant to participate. A Fourth of July picnic will be at 11 a.m. Thursday. Chicken tenders and antipasto salad will be provided. Bring a dish to share that has either red, white or blue in it. Registration for events and lunch required at least one day in advance. Donations are accepted for all activities. Details: 724-787-1760.

• Super Seniors of Westmoreland County will meet at noon Tuesday at Community United Methodist Church, 3487 Route 130, Trafford. Lunch cost: $2. Annual $5 dues will be collected. There will be entertainment after the meeting. New members welcome. Reservations: Theresa Barry, 724-875-4813.
