Classes/programs

• Free family friendly gaming extravaganza, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday , Mt. Pleasant Public Library,120 S. Church St. It will include appearances by local game developers, Dungeons and Dragons One-Shot campaigns, and for a small donation, a chess tournament and a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament. Guests can enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks. Chess tournament is planned at 1 p.m. Cost: $2 per person donation for a chance at a monetary prize. Details: 724-547-3850.

• Events at University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, 150 Finoli Drive, Hempfield:

— Shaka Senghor, a leading voice in criminal justice reform, will speak at 7 p.m. today in Mary Lou Campana Chapel and Lecture Center. Copies of his memoir will be available for purchase, and he will sign copies after the presentation.

— “They Call Me Q,” a one-woman show written, performed, and co-produced by Qurrat Ann Kadwani. The show begins at 8 p.m. Thursday in Ferguson Theater, Smith Hall.

• Hye-Jin Kim. renowned violinist will perform in Saint Vincent College’s Concert Series at 7 p.m. Saturday in Robert S. Carey Performing Arts Center, 300 Fraser Purchase Road, Unity. A meet-and-greet reception will be held after the concert. Tickets: $26, under 12 admitted free. Details: 724-805-2177 or concertseries.stvincent.edu.

• One Book One Westmoreland, The Space Barons by Christian Davenport will be the book discussion 6 p.m. Feb. 20 in Adams Memorial Library, 1112 Ligonier St., Latrobe. Copies of the book will be made available through the library, must register by Jan. 30 at 724-539-1972.

Church events

• Cash bash, 6-10 p.m. Saturday in St. John’s social hall, 416 S. Broadway St., Scottdale. Cost: $20, includes food and beverages. Details: 724-887-6714 or 724-887-3718.

• A free hot lunch to those in need is served once every month on the last Tuesday of each month. The next lunch will be noon-1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Michael’s Orthodox Church, 1182 Ashland St., Greensburg. Information: 724-834-1311.
