Fundraisers
• Union Presbyterian Church, 656 Route 380, Washington Township, will host a craft show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 13 at the church.

• Jeannette Knights of Columbus hosts bingo at 7 p.m. Fridays in Mersinger Hall at Ascension Church, 615 Division St., Jeannette. • The Westmoreland County Intellectual Disability/Autism Awareness Committee will sponsor a free awareness event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 13 at Westmoreland Mall, 5256 Route 30, Hempfield. There will be entertainment, activities, raffles, mascots and giveaways.
Lectures
• A free talk about the Allegheny Arsenal explosion in the Lawrenceville section of Pittsburgh will be from 1 to 3 p.m. April 13 at Baltzer Meyer Historical Society, 642 Baltzer Meyer Pike, Hempfield. Author Tom Powers will be the speaker. Details: 724-836-6915 or info@baltzermeyer.com.
• Westmoreland Woodlands Improvement Association will sponsor a presentation with Aaron Capouellez at 7 p.m. April 17 at the J. Roy Houston Conservation Center, behind the Donohoe Center, 218 Donohoe Road, Hempfield. Capouellez is president of nonprofit Pennsylvania Woods and Forests and will discuss the species that group conserves, with a focus on amphibians. Theater
• The Pitt-Greensburg Theatre Company will present its spring musical, “Fun Home,” at 8 p.m. April 11, 12 and 13 and 2:30 p.m. April 14 in the Ferguson Theater in Smith Hall on the campus, 150 Finoli Drive, Hempfield.
